This modest limestone cottage was the Austin home of Susanna Dickinson, one of the few survivors of the Battle of the Alamo, and her husband Joseph Hannig, a German-born cabinetmaker. Inside you'll find a small but pointed look at her life beyond that single famous day, set in one of the oldest surviving houses in the area — just know the hours are slim, so plan around that midweek window.
