Officially carrying Loop 360 over Lake Austin, the Pennybacker Bridge is better known as the "360 Bridge" — a rust-toned steel arch that's left unpainted so its weathered surface blends into the surrounding Hill Country. Most visitors don't cross it for the view but climb the short, rocky trail up the bluff on the north bank, where the overlook frames the bridge against the water and is a well-known spot for sunset.
